Bentonite belongs to non-metallic minerals with soft texture. If the ore size is too large, the feed inlet of the mill is limited. After primary crushing, it can be sent to mill for grinding to get the qualified finished powder.
Bentonite production Line
1. Crushing: The Mohs hardness of bentonite is 1 to 2, which belongs to non-metallic minerals with soft texture and can be primary crushed.
2. Drying: Natural or heat drying can be used to remove moisture (water content ≤12%-6%). In order to prevent changes in the properties of bentonite caused by montmorillonite structure changes, the drying temperature should be lower than 250 °C, and the time is not too long.
3. Grinding: To meet the high fineness requirements of bentonite in paper, plastic and rubber products industries. Bentonite equipment is generally available with European type grinding mill, overpressure trapezium mill and vertical mill for grinding.
General bentonite applications require powder fineness is 200 mesh. European type grinding mill, trapezium mill and vertical mill can meet their price requirements. Each series of mill has different models and can be selected according to specific production needs.
