Heavy calcium applications

Since calcium is rich in resources, it has features such as wide distribution, simple processing technology with a low price, high purity (content of up to 98-99%), high brightness (up to 94% or more) low oil absorption, low hardness, good dispersion, good thermal stability (not decompose below 400 ℃),etc. So it is widely used in industrial filler.

1.plastic

Adding heavy calcium in plastics, can play the following roles: reducing the incremental cost; improving the heat resistance of plastics; improving plastic astigmatism to play the role of shading and extinction; improving performance or plating of plastic fabric printing performance; reducing the size of plastic shrinkage to ensure dimensional stability.

2.paper

Heavy calcium for paper can be broadly divided into filler, primer and topcoat paint pigment.

3.coating

Heavy calcium has weatherability, color retention, mildew and other effects which suitable for exterior paint. It is mainly used in the original paint, putty, wrinkles paint, building exterior latex paint.

4.Other

Heavy calcium is also used in rubber, adhesives, sealants, inks, toothpaste, food and medicine.
