The sieving rate of 325 mesh desulfurization limestone

Limestone-gypsum wet desulfurization is the world's most widely used desulfurization process, which uses limestone as raw material, in order to ensure the comprehensive utilization of gypsum and reduce waste water discharge, the CaCO3 content of limestone should be higher than 90%. The fineness of the limestone powder needs to be determined according to the characteristics of limestone and the grinding system of limestone powder.

                                                                                                                        

 

For burning low sulfur content coal, the fineness of limestone powder should ensure the sieving rate of 250 mesh is 91%; when burning high sulfur content coal, the fineness of limestone powder should be guaranteed the sieving rate of 325 mesh is 90%. We can also choose high-quality lime powder as desulfurization medium, lime grade should be higher than 85%.

 

To prepare above limestone powder, we usually use raymond mill, suspension mill, ball mill or European type grinding mill. But now, more and more power plant began to use European type grinding mill.
