The prospect of the limestone production line

The main component of limestone is calcium carbonate (CaCO3), which can be directly processed into stone and burned into quicklime. Lime includes quicklime and slaked lime. The main component of quicklime is CaO, which is generally lumpy, pure white, and light gray or light yellow when it contains impurities. Quicklime becomes slaked lime by absorbing moisture or adding water. and its main component is Ca(OH)2. The slaked lime is formulated into lime slurry, lime paste, lime mortar, etc., which are used as coating materials and brick adhesives. Limestone and lime are widely used as building materials and are also important raw materials for many industries.

The limestone blasting down from the mountain is sent to the vibrating feeder with a size of less than 1200mm through a dump truck. The vibrating feeder sends the rock evenly to the crusher, which crushes the rock for first stage, and then sends the bulk material to the second stage for crushing and shaping. After grading and sieving through the circular vibrating screen, the bulk material with unqualified particle size is returned to the second stage through the conveyor belt to be crushed again, and the finished product is sent to the finished product area by the belt conveyor. The compressive strength of limestone is generally about 150 MPa, which belongs to soft rock. Therefore, in the choice of the production process of the limestone production line, the two-stage one-closed-circuit process composed of two crushers is an economical and reasonable choice.
