Diatomite ultrafine grinding process and equipment selection

Diatomite is a siliceous sedimentary rock, usually pale yellow or light gray, soft, porous and light. After processing into powder, it used industrially as insulation materials, filter materials, fillers, abrasive materials, sodium silicate raw materials, bleaching agents and diatomaceous earth filter aid, catalyst carrier material.

                                                                                                              

 

For general fineness, such as: 80-400 mesh of diatomaceous earth powder processing, raymond mill, vertical mill can meet the requirements. After 29 years of continuous research and innovation, Kefid's raymond mill successfully upgraded to third-generation super pressure trapezium mill and fourth-generation European type trapezium mill which currently has wide application in the powder industry.

 

For diatomaceous earth ultra-fine grinding process, common raymond mill can not reach the requirements of more than 400 mesh fineness. We need to use a professional ultra-fine powder production equipment.

 

Kefid has two ultra-fine powder mills. LUM ultrafine vertical mill is suitble for 400-1250 mesh of diatomite processing and HGM ultra-fine micro-powder mill is better for more than 1500 mesh powder.
